After two days of seminars on environmental issues, watching the movie "For the Love of Water" (FLOW) and preparations for a town meeting, the students came up with creative solutions for water conservation under the leadership of Camile Jones.
We also had a lively and insightful roundtable discussion on Servant Leadership, based on Robert Greenleaf's model. It was great to have everyone voice their opinions and share inspirational leadership experiences. We ended the academic week with a barbeque, social time, and a shopping trip into Palo Alto.
The students are busy working on their portfolios, UN presentations, and their language / cultural skits.
